We invite everyone for the final installment of this year’s AlerTomas Webinar Series this September 26 (Saturday) 4:00-5:30 p.m. It is in partnership between the University of Santo Tomas – Simbahayan and the National Taipei University – International Program on Urban Governance, the event will be part of a webinar and part round-table discussion both of which will focus on the challenges or pathways of furthering care for the environment through community sustainability.
Guest speaker, Asst. Prof. Chia-An Andy Ku, a Ph.D. in Geography graduate from the University of Cambridge, will discuss the link between climate change and resilient research with city/community-level disaster risk reduction planning and management, with a strong focus on flooding in Taiwan. Round-table discussions open a forum for HEI level experiences and pathways towards care for creation.
